Batman and the Outsiders #6: Critical Analysis

It's baaa-aaaack!

Yes, coming up in the next couple of weeks on Siskoid's Blog of Geekery, it's another orifice-tearing look at Batman and the Outsiders' next two issues, featuring the cold cold villainy of Mr. Free--I mean, the Cryonic Man!And you'll tear your hair out wondering why Mike Barr DIDN'T use Mr. Freeze in this. There ARE differences, yes, but an ice-based Gotham City villain with frozen family members? Dude, nobody was even doing anything with Freeze at the time. The real answer, of course, is that Barr would rather shore up his reputation as a kick-ass character creator. Man, I am VERY facetious today, aren't I? Sorry about that.

No, the best reason to read/deconstruct/bash this issue is that it features Halo GOING TO HIGH SCHOOL. Also, Katana in her underwear. I kid not, see you back here most days for the lowdown.

Mr. Freeze's nom du crime does not contain any attrociously lame outdated (even back then) pop-culture reference puns, which rules out any use by Barr...
