Batman and the Outsiders #5: Pages 6-7

Let's leave the perfect insta-dry hairdos of the Titans and Outsiders for today and look in on the villains - The Fatal Fearful Fearsome Five.Dr. Light, have you seen the bodies? ANY body? Cuz yeah, you totally killed BATMAN. Right. Or the TITANS. Come on. Or THOSE OTHER HEROES(TM). And this is why Outsiders comics feel like role-playing game sessions. Just plug in Your Own Heroes. Now let's get inside that secret, highly visible HQ:
The Fearsome Five... bring your own chair, we've only got two. So here, the pre-Identity Crisis (an event I consider non-canon for my own peace of mind) Dr. Light is asking mud monsters for a little respect. DENIED!
Psimon's the new leader now, bitch! And watch your neck, those double-takes are gonna give you a sprain and the Freedom Fifty Fearsome Five don't have workman's comp.
You brought them together... IN JAIL! (Now we're in a Fox TV special presentation.)

Art History Lesson: Sometimes Aparo likes to use the Medieval way of presenting things, before perspective had been invented. In short, the size of characters are based on their importance.
And now that you've learned something, back to our regularly-scheduled shit slinging.
It's not enough that Dr. Light leaves however, cuz Psimon can't leave well enough alone.
Well, Light is NOT entire covered in feces, so yeah, there's work to be done. He's already sent his paperwork in to legally change the name of the group to Fearsome Four, see.

Are you saying that you consider the pre-Rape Crisis Dr Light non-rape canon, or that you don't consider Identity Rape itself where Dr Rape was revealed to like rape to be rape... I mean canon?

He loves to rape, you know!

I have no idea what you're talking about. I can't even read what you wrote. LALALA Nope not reading anything...

I suddenly have no doubt in my mind that the Monarch (from Venture Bros, adds the hopefully unnecessary parenthetical comment editor) was based not merely on the pre-IC Dr. Light but on this story in particular...

@Jeff R: It does read even funnier if you hear Dr. Light's words in the Monarch's voice.

"A wall of hard photons will protect me."

Easy, Dr. Light. Kids could be reading. ;)
